What paperwork do I need to move furniture from Canada to the US?
You need a detailed inventory of everything crossing, your ID, and proof of your right to live or work in the US, such as a visa or work permit. Customs may ask about newer items. We prepare the full package with you before pickup so nothing gets improvised at the border.
Do Canadian movers clear US customs for you?
No mover can clear customs on your behalf, and be careful with any who claim to. Your shipment clears under your name and your documents. What a good mover does is make the paperwork airtight before the truck leaves. That's our job, and it's how our Vancouver-to-Virginia move landed on time.
Can I ship my car with my household goods to the US?
Yes. Your vehicle and your furniture move under one booking with one quote. The car needs its own customs entry, and the title and registration have to be in order before pickup. We walk you through those documents along with the household paperwork. Tell us the make and model when you call.
How long does a move from Vancouver to the US take?
