How we load a truck so nothing shifts
Heavy, square things go in first. Appliances, dressers, and boxes of books build the base. Each tier gets packed floor to ceiling and strapped off before the next one starts. Pads go between every wood or metal surface. Weight sits low and spread over the axles, so the truck handles right on the highway.
We bring the straps, the pads, and the door and floor protection. If nothing is boxed yet, our full-service packing crew can pack the house the day before, so loading day starts fast.

Container and POD loading for storage or shipping
Containers take more abuse than trucks. They get lifted by crane, set down hard, and sometimes ride rail or ocean. So we brace container loads tighter: solid tiers, straps on the container's tie-downs, and nothing that can work loose over weeks in storage or at sea.
Shipping the container somewhere far? We also run container shipping ourselves, door to door. And if you'd rather skip the rental altogether, our local movers bring the truck and do the whole job.

How do professionals load a moving truck so nothing shifts?
In strapped tiers. Heavy, square items build the base, each vertical tier gets packed tight and strapped to the rails before the next starts, and pads separate every surface. Weight stays low and balanced over the axles. Done right, you can drive across the province and open the door to zero surprises.
Is hiring loaders for a U-Haul worth it?
Usually, yes. A crew that loads daily fits more into the same truck, which can save you a second trip or a bigger rental. And one cracked dresser or TV costs more than the crew did. You still keep the big savings, because you drive the truck yourself.
Do loading crews bring straps and pads?
Ours do. Straps, moving pads, shrink wrap, and door and floor protection come with the crew. Rental trucks often come with just a handful of thin pads, so we bring what the load actually needs. Materials are part of the quote, with no surprise add-ons.
Can you just unload at the destination?
Yes. Plenty of clients load in another city and only need muscle at this end. Tell us the truck or container size and the unload address, and we'll book a crew for the arrival window. We unload, place furniture by room, and haul our pads back out with us.
