How your car ships with the household
Overseas, the car rides in the same container as your furniture when space allows. The vehicle loads first, gets braced and strapped to the container floor, and a solid barrier goes up before the household goods load behind it. Across Canada, the car travels on the same booking and timeline as the house, so both ends of your move land together.

Getting your car ready to ship
Empty the car. Loose contents shift in transit, slow down border checks, and aren't covered the way the vehicle is. Leave about a quarter tank of fuel, pull the toll tags and personal items, and photograph the car from every angle on pickup day. We walk the vehicle with you and note its condition before it moves, and again at delivery.
Have the registration and title handy. Cross-border and overseas shipments can't book without them, and it's the first thing we'll ask for on the phone.

Can my car go in the same container as my furniture?
Yes, when the container has room, and it's the cheapest way to ship both. The car loads first, gets strapped to the floor rails, and a solid barrier goes up before any furniture loads behind it. A 40 foot container handles most households plus a car. The survey confirms the fit.
How much does it cost to ship a car from Vancouver to Toronto?

Do I need to empty my car before shipping it?
Yes, empty it. Loose items shift in transit, slow down border and customs checks, and aren't insured the way the vehicle itself is. Take out personal items, electronics, and toll tags, and leave roughly a quarter tank of fuel. We check the car over with you at pickup and note its condition.
